The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] who range themselves in close ranks 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
