Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak 1 from the evil of what He has created, 2 from the evil of the darkness when it gathers 3 from the evil of the blowers on knots; 4 "And from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
