Highly blessed is He, Who has made fortified spheres in the heavens and has set in it a "lamp" and a shining moon. 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good deeds – so he has inclined towards Allah with repentance as was required. 71 And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall deaf and blind upon them. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,, wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honour and salutations 75 Abiding therein; excellent it is as an abode, and as a place to dwell. 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
