The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 When their brother Lut said unto them: fear ye not? 161 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. 162 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. 164 “What! Among all the creatures, you commit the immoral acts with men?” 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Lot, thou shalt assuredly be one of the expelled.' 167 He said, "Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 Thereupon We saved him and all his household 170 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind. 171 then We destroyed the others. 172 We rained upon them a rain, and evil is the rain (of stones) on those that are warned. 173 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 174 Yet surely your Lord is mighty and powerful. 175
