▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Whom neither a man or jinn had ever touched before them. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78
