We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
