We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
