On the day when We shall call all men with their record, and whoso is given his book in his right hand -- those shall read their book, and they shall not be wronged a single date-thread. 71 And whoever is blind in this, he shall (also) be blind in the hereafter; and more erring from the way. 72 (Such blind ones) try to confuse what We have revealed to you so that they may falsely ascribe to Us something other than the true revelation and thus establish friendship with you. 73 And had We not made thee firm [in faith,] thou might have inclined to them a little 74 In that case, We would have made you taste a double portion (of punishment) in this life and a double portion (of punishment) after death. And then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 And indeed, they were about to drive you from the land to evict you therefrom. And then [when they do], they will not remain [there] after you, except for a little. 76 Such was Our way with the messengers We sent before you, and you will find no change in Our ways. 77
