The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is sundered. 1 And hearkens to its Lord and is dutiful, 2 and when the earth is leveled, 3 And casts forth what is in it and becomes empty, 4 And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; 5 Human being, you strive hard to get closer to your Lord, and so you will certainly receive the recompense (of your deeds). 6 Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, 7 He shall be reckoned with by an easy reckoning, 8 and shall return to his people joyfully. 9 But he who is given his Record behind his back,- 10 he will pray for utter destruction 11 and he will enter the blazing flame. 12 He once lived among his family joyfully; 13 Never thinking he will return. 14 Why not? His Lord was always watching him. 15 I swear by the twilight; 16 And by the night and all that it enshroudeth, 17 And by the moon when it is at the full, 18 that you shall surely ride from stage to stage. 19 What then is the matter with them, that they believe not?- 20 And when the Qur'an is recited to them do not bow in adoration? ۩ 21 Yea those who disbelieve belie. 22 and Allah knows very well what they gather. 23 Therefore, give them the news of a painful punishment. 24 Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail. 25
Almighty Allah's Truth.
