So whoever does some good deeds, and is a believer, then his efforts will not be ignored; and We are recording it. 94 There is a ban upon any city that We have destroyed; they shall not return 95 Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend 96 when the true promise of God draws near, those who denied the truth will stare in amazement, crying, "Woe to us! We have been so heedless of this. Indeed, we were wrongdoers." 97 You and all those who you were worshipping, other than Allah, shall be the fuel of Gehenna; there you shall all go down to it. 98 Had these been gods, they would not have come to it and all shall abide therein. 99 There, sobbing will be their lot, nor will they there hear (aught else). 100 But those for whom a good reward had been fore-ordained by Us, will be far removed from it, 101 And will not hear its hissing, and will live for ever in the midst of what their hearts desire. 102 The greatest fear will not aggrieve them, and the angels will welcome them; saying “This is your day, which you were promised.” 103 The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. 104 And indeed We have written in Zabur (Psalms) [i.e. all the revealed Holy Books the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Quran] after (We have already written in) Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (the Book, that is in the heaven with Allah), that My righteous slaves shall inherit the land (i.e. the land of Paradise). 105 This Qur’an is sufficient for people who are devout. 106 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 Then, if they should turn their backs, say: 'I have proclaimed to you all equally, even though I know not whether near or far is that you are promised.' 109 Verily He knoweth that which is public in speech, and He knoweth that which ye hide. 110 Nor do I know whether it may mean a trial for you and a short reprieve." 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge in truth. Our Lord is the Merciful whose help is ever to be sought against what you describe' 112
