[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 But how are you to know? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
