Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 [so] turn, not thine eyes [longingly] towards the worldly benefits which We have granted unto some of those [that deny the truth]. And neither grieve over those [who refuse to heed thee,] but spread the wings of thy tenderness over the believers, 88 And say: Lo! I, even I, am a plain warner, 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 those who had split up their Qur'an into pieces. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 about what they did. 93 So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters. 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say, 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
