▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
