Abraham was a community in himself devoted to God and true in faith, He was not one of the polytheists; 120 Grateful for His favours: He chose him and guided him to a straight path. 121 And We gave him good in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous. 122 Afterwards We revealed unto thee: follow thou the faith of Ibrahim the upright; and he was not of the associaters. 123 As for the Sabbath, it was made incumbent only on those who differed about its laws. Certainly your Lord will judge on the Day of Resurrection between them regarding the matters they disputed. 124 CALL THOU [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer's path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner - for, behold, thy Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who are the right-guided. 125 If ye punish, then punish with the like of that wherewith ye were afflicted. But if ye endure patiently, verily it is better for the patient. 126 And bear with patience, (O Muhammad) - and your patience is only because of the help of Allah - and do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed by their evil plans. 127 For surely Allah is with those who hold Him in fear and do good. 128
