It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will surely say: God. Say thou: will ye not then fear? 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
