۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
