Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
