No! By the moon 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 A warning for people -- 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 "Nor used to feed the needy." 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
