Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
