Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
