Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
