The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
