They ask you about the mountains. Say, "My Lord will scatter them as dust 105 "Then He shall leave it as a level smooth plain. 106 with neither hollows nor upthrust mounds to be seen. 107 That Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. 108 On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him. 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they do not comprehend Him in knowledge. 110 ۞ on that Day all faces shall be humbled before the Living, Self-Subsisting One. Those burdened with evil deeds will come to grief, 111 And he who hath done some good works, being a believer, he feareth not injustice nor begrudging (of his wage). 112 And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. 113 Exalted is Allah, the True King! And hasten thee not with the Qur'an before there is finished to thee the revelation thereof, and say thou: O my Lord! increase me in knowledge! 114 We had commanded Adam (certain matters). He forgot Our commandment and We did not find in him the determination to fulfil Our commandments. 115
