Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
