Al-Najm 3 of 3
Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
