Al-Imraan 13 of 20
(Muhammad), remember the morning when you left home to show the believers their position in the battle? God is All-hearing and All-knowing. 121 Two parties of you were about to fail, though Allah was their Guardian, and in Allah believers put all their trust. 122 God had already helped you at Badr, when you were weak. Fear God, so that you may be grateful. 123 When thou saidst to the believers, 'Is it not enough for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down upon you? 124 "Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught. 125 Allah made it not but as a message of good news for you and as an assurance to your hearts. And there is no victory except from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 126 In order that He may cut off a part of unbelievers or overthrow them, and they turn back in frustration. 127 (O Messenger!) It is not for you to decide whether He will accept their repentance or chastise them, for they surely are wrongdoers. 128 whereas unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth: He forgives whom He wills, and He chastises whom He wills; and God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace. 129

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
