The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
