Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
