And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
