Is he whom We have promised a fair promise which he will find (true) like him whom We suffer to enjoy awhile the comfort of the life of the world, then on the Day of Resurrection he will be of those arraigned? 61 And on the Day whereon He shall call unto them and say: where are My associates whom ye were wont to assert? 62 Those against whom the Word will have proved true will say, “Our Lord! These are they whom we led astray; we led them astray the way we ourselves went astray; we are unconcerned with them and we incline towards You – they never worshipped us!” 63 Then they will be told, "Call upon your partners." And they will call upon them, but will receive no answer. They shall witness the punishment. If only they had allowed themselves to be guided. 64 And on the Day when He will call to them and proclaim, “What answer did you give to the Noble Messengers?” 65 They will be left speechless on that Day, and they will not be able to consult each other. 66 But as for him who repents and believes and does good deeds, he can hope to find himself among the successful. 67 And your Lord creates whatsoever He wills and chooses, no choice have they (in any matter). Glorified be Allah, and exalted above all that they associate as partners (with Him). 68 And your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 69 He is Allah; there is no god but He. His is the praise in this world and in the Hereafter. His is the command and to Him will all of you be returned. 70 Say thou: bethink ye, if Allah made night continuous for you till the Day of Resurrection, what god is there beside Allah, who would bring you light? Hearken ye not? 71 Say: 'What would you think if Allah should make the day unceasing over you till the Day of Resurrection, what god, other than Allah, shall bring you the night to sleep in. Will you not see' 72 He has made the night and day for you to rest as a mercy to you and seek His favor and that perhaps you will give Him thanks. 73 (Let them bear in mind) that on that Day when He will call out to them saying: "Where are My associates, those whom you imagined to be so?" 74 And We shall single out one witness from each community and say: "Bring your proof." Then will they know that God's is the judgement, and what they contrived will avail them not in the least. 75
