Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
