۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
