The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This is The Book free of doubt and involution, a guidance for those who preserve themselves from evil and follow the straight path, 2 Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; 3 who believe in what has been sent down to thee and what has been sent down before thee, and have faith in the Hereafter; 4 These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous. 5 Verily, those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him) warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and ears, and veiled their eyes. For them is great deprivation. 7
