And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
