Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
