Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds which carry dust particles, 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 then the easy runners (the ships); 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 surely you are at variance (about the Hereafter); 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 [It will be] a Day when they will be sorely tried by the fire, 13 (And told:) "Taste your punishment. This is what you were trying to hasten." 14 The righteous shall live among gardens and fountains, 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 AND ON EARTH there are signs [of God's existence, visible] to all who are endowed with inner certainty, 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. 23
