The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
