And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
