Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum: 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
