Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 and that hour you are watching 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
