The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 And when the stars fall, 2 And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 And when the books are spread, 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 And your comrade is not mad. 22 And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon. 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 When whither go ye? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.
