The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A burning fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
