▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens. 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 With spreading branches; 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In both these is a pair of every fruit. 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are maidens of modest gaze, whom neither a man nor a jinn had ever touched before them. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78
