Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 Who know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
