See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
