۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
