۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 and you are watching at that time 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
