Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
