Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
