The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)

By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 And who glide with ease. 3 Then those who are foremost going ahead, 4 And direct affairs by command, 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 And the second followeth it, 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 What! when we are rotten bones? 11 and they say, "That indeed would be a losing return." 12 Surely they will need no more than a single stern blast, 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa! 15 when his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 “Tell him ‘Do you have the inclination to become pure?’ 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 Moses showed him the great sign, 20 Yet he belied and disobeyed. 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 And he summoned all his people, 23 And he said: I am your Lord, most high. 24 But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life. 25 Surely, in this there is a lesson for he that fears! 26
